• Turn onto SR 302
• Follow for around 2.25 miles, the entrance is on the right (look for signage here)

The West Side Mountain Bike Series has been going on for 13 years! It has grown each year and we are excited for the 2018 series, as we are utilizing more new trails. Come on out and have some fun!!!

WSBA State Mtn Bike Championship Event

The 360 Park event has been chosen by the WSBA (Washington State Bicycle Association) to be the State Mtn Bike Championship event. The event will be USA Cycling Sanctioned (Permit # 2018-372) and USAC licensed participants may be eligible to participate in the National Mtn Bike Championship event, based on their finish placing. If you are not a USAC Licensed member, you will not be eligible for Nationals. For more information on becoming a USA Cycling Licensed Member, please visit their website (see above). WSBA championships jerseys and medals will be awarded to all category winners.

Securite' Luxury Gun Club is the 2018 title sponsors of this event.

The Club is in the process of getting ready to build its facility. The goal of the Club is to educate users and provide a safe, family environment to do this. John, and Team Securite' are amazing in thier commitment to the Mountain Bike sport.

Registration times on event day

Registraiton will open at 8am the morning of the event. You must register by 15 minutes before your Category begins (see Course Information and Maps for Category Start Times). EVERYONE must check in, whether you registered online or have a pass.

This will be a USAC Sanctioned event

If you have a license, great you will need to complete a USAC Waiver form (and a BuDu form if you have not participated in an earlier event). If you are not a USAC member, you will not need to pay for one, but you will need to complete a USAC One Day License form. 
You do need to check in at the registration table, otherwise you are not considered a participant. PLEASE DO NOT START THE RACE WITHOUT CHECKING IN, or you may be disqualified.

Registration Prices

Series Passes and 5 Passes are good for all 8 events (as appropriate), this includes the event at 360 Park. Unused passes are not transferable or refundable.

Bike Numbers

We will have a laminated bike number that will have your timing tag on it. It is your responsibility to bring the bike number to each event. If you do not have it, you WILL be charged $5 for a new number, that will be your bike number for the series, unless you change categories.

What do I get with my registration fee?

• Once you have registered and start riding the course, you are part of the event, NO refunds will be issued once you start the event.
• If you have pre-registered and need to request a transfer please send an email to Info@BuDuRacing.com at least 24 hours before the start of the event.

BuDu Racing, LLC reserves the right to cancel an event due to issues beyond their control, such as something weather related. BuDu Racing, LLC will do what they can to accommodate each person who has pre-registered by allowing a transfer to another event, when appropriate.

There will be plenty of parking at this venue. Please take directions from the parking attendants. 

Team tents will be able to be set up near the finish area.

Please remember that courses are tentative and may be adjusted on race morning. 

The Start Time listed is for the first group off in the category. We do have wave starts that are posted the morning of the event. Everyone is normally started with in 8 minutes. Also, the Event Length is approximate and base off of when the first finisher is expected. The lap count is a courtesy, not a guarantee. Course conditions can impact this on either side of the time frame.

Category Description

• Cat 3 (Beginner) = relatively new to MTB Racing
• Cat 2 (Sport) = rides comfortably w/ speed
• Cat 1 (Expert) = Accomplished at MTB
• Single Speed = riding a bike with one gear
• Clydesdale = Men over 210 lbs

If a participant is lapped by the lead rider, you will finish on the same lap as the leader. On the final results it will indicate you are one lap down. The results posted onsite may show a time penalty instead of being down a lap, but will be adjusted for the final results.

Transfers to a different category, which means you are moving up a category, are allowed with points transferring, but must take place before the 5th race. No transfers with points will be allowed after the 5th event. After transfering, in order to be in contention to win a Series Placing, you must have competed in at least 3 of the category events you are placing in. 

If you transfer down a category, your points will NOT transfer.

We will be awarding medals for First, Second, and Third finishes in each category and division (as appropriate) at each event. You need to pick up your medal, they will not be mailed.
